Release Notes (September 15, 2023)

Improvement:

  • Implemented validation in the summary page under the schedule section to prevent users from entering negative values in the interval field. The interval field now only accepts positive values starting from 1, ensuring accurate and meaningful input for scheduling purposes.

Bug Fix:

  • Addressed the issue where exceeding the service limit (e.g., creating more than 20 services when the limit is set to 20) did not trigger an alert or message. The fix ensures that users are now properly notified when the service limit is exceeded, preventing the creation of additional services beyond the specified limit.
  • Resolved the issue where email alerts were not functioning when set as the target. The fix ensures that email alerts now work as intended, providing users with reliable notifications for successful or unsuccessful events in the specified integration processes.
  • Addressed the issue where attempting to swap two operations resulted in both operation names becoming the same. The fix ensures that the swap functionality now works correctly, maintaining distinct operation names after the swap operation.

  • Implemented a product release version page within eZintegrations, serving as an "About Us" section. This addition provides users with detailed information about the product's release versions, fostering transparency and keeping users informed about the latest updates and improvements.

Improvement:

  • Implemented email field validation for the summary tab in integrations. Users will now experience improved data integrity and accuracy with the added validation for email fields.

Bug Fix:

  • Addressed the issue with Websocket as a source, resolving difficulties when using multiple parameters. The fix ensures seamless functionality and improved compatibility with multiple parameters in Websocket source configurations.
  • Resolved the issue where selecting a filter from the search filter field in the marketplace for the first time resulted in prolonged loading times. The fix optimizes the page loading, ensuring a more responsive experience when applying filters for quicker navigation in the marketplace.
  • Addressed the issue where users were unable to edit card details in the payment method tab within the accounting and billing section. The fix ensures that users can now successfully edit and update card details as needed.

Bug Fix:

  • Resolved the issue where users were unable to update Database Environment records after clicking the Edit button. The fix ensures that users can now successfully edit and update Database Environment records as intended.
  • Addressed the issue where Websocket as a source did not display the response in its test button at the bottom. The fix ensures that the response is now properly presented in the test button for Websocket as a source, providing users with accurate feedback during testing.
  • Resolved the issue where the Database Environment in View More or View Mode did not display any information. The fix ensures that the relevant details are now accurately presented in both View More and View Mode for Database Environments.

  • Introduced WebSocket as a new data source option, expanding the range of available sources in the system for improved integration capabilities. Users can now seamlessly incorporate WebSocket functionality into their workflows.
  • Implemented an email alert feature for Integration Bridges, enabling users to receive notifications on the start and stop events of Integration Bridges. This addition enhances visibility and allows for proactive monitoring of integration activities.

Bug Fix:

  • Implemented validation on environment names, preventing the addition of multiple blank environment names. Users will now be prompted with appropriate validation checks to ensure the accurate and meaningful naming of environments.

  • Addressed the issue where users were unable to delete specific environments when multiple environments were added. The fix ensures users now have the option to delete specific environments, providing enhanced control and flexibility in environment management.
  • Resolved the issue where the test button was non-functional when attempting to use environment settings and OAuth 2.0 in the source. The fix ensures that the test button now correctly validates configurations, allowing users to verify integration settings successfully.

  • Addressed the issue where, when using API as an operation with the body set as text, a single quote was erroneously added each time the body was updated multiple times. The fix ensures that the body is now updated without the addition of unwanted single quotes, providing accurate and consistent data input.

New Feature:

  • Introduced the Environment Variable feature, enhancing functionality in eZintegrations for creating and updating API Catalogues and Integration Bridges. This feature empowers users with greater customization and flexibility in managing their integrations.
  • Implemented a toggle button in base64 encoding operations, offering users an intuitive and efficient way to switch between encoding options. This addition enhances the user experience and simplifies the management of base64 encoding preferences.

Bug Fix:

  • Resolved the issue in the user/add section where pressing "Enter" in any input field would redirect to the User/list page. This behavior has been fixed, ensuring that pressing "Enter" within input fields now performs the expected action without unintended redirection.

  • Introduced a new operation, 'Document Understanding,' categorized under Deep Learning, providing users with advanced capabilities for document processing within the system.

Bug Fix: 

  • Resolved the issue where the submit button was unresponsive when both the source and target were set as Datalake. The fix ensures that users can successfully submit integration configurations with Datalake as both the source and target.
  • Implemented a fix to automatically scroll the page to the top when paginating in the marketplace, enhancing user experience and ensuring a smoother navigation flow.
  • Resolved the issue in the marketplace where filters based on product name, version, business object, method, type, and price now function correctly, providing users with accurate and refined search results.

New Feature:

  • Introduced a new operation named "PDF Extractor" to cater to the specific needs of the new prospect, providing advanced capabilities for extracting and processing information from PDF documents within the system.

Improvement:

  • Modified the Pivot operation to make the "Get Key" field non-mandatory, with the default set to empty. This enhancement allows users greater flexibility in creating Integration Bridges with Pivot operations, eliminating the requirement to pass a value for the specific key when not needed.

Bug Fix:

  • Resolved the issue in the Marketplace where selecting a filter (e.g., Oracle Corporation) now accurately displays only the product names, business objects, versions, methods, types, and prices related to the chosen filter, ensuring a more streamlined and relevant user experience.

  • Introduced a new operation under the Wrangling section named "Delimiter to Array," providing users with a convenient tool for transforming data by converting delimiters into arrays.

Improvement:

  • Enhanced the Marketplace loading experience by optimizing the load time for both the main page and filter list. The loading icon has been smoothed out for a more seamless user experience, ensuring quicker access to Marketplace features.
  • Added a note message below the "Order Set of Value (Tuple key)" field when the target type is selected as a database. The note advises users to write the tuple key inside square brackets for accurate input, enhancing clarity and preventing potential errors.

Improvement:

  • Improved the password process for organization users, enhancing security measures and user experience. Users will now benefit from an updated and more robust password management system.

Bug Fix:

  • Resolved the issue in the Summary tab where source type or target type details were not dynamically updating based on the selected source or target type. Now, the headers in the Summary tab accurately reflect the chosen source type or target type, including Data source, Source business object, Data target, and Target business object.
  • Resolved the issue in the integration bridge where, with Email as the data target, text entered in the editor was displaying HTML code in view mode, and the editor itself was not visible. The fix ensures proper rendering of text in view mode without HTML code and restores visibility of the editor.
  • Resolved the issue where pagination changes on the test button were erroneously reverted back. The fix ensures that pagination changes made on the test button are now consistently maintained as intended.
  • Implemented the ability to perform sorting by the Status column in the list view of Integration Bridge, providing users with enhanced flexibility and ease of navigation in managing integration statuses.

New Feature:

  • Introduced a new transformation operation named "Zipfile in Base64" under the Transformation section, expanding functionality for users working with zip files in Base64 format.

Bug Fix:

  • Organization admins were unable to update the company logo in their profiles. The problem has been resolved, allowing admins to now successfully update and manage the company logo in their profiles.
  • Resolved the issue where the setting button in the user/add section was unresponsive or non-clickable. Users can now seamlessly access and interact with the setting button in the specified section.
  • Implemented validation messages for the first name, last name, and email fields in the user section, ensuring users receive prompt feedback and preventing submission errors due to missing or incorrect information.

Improvement:

  • Organization admins can now add users without being required to select user permissions, providing more flexibility in user management. This improvement streamlines the user addition process for administrators.

Bug Fix:

  • Resolved the issue in the new integration bridge where, if the data source body type is XML and the user inputs JSON format, the system now correctly validates the data format, preventing the creation of the integration bridge until the correct XML format is provided.
  • Resolved the issue where the target test button in Email data was non-functional. Users can now successfully test their configurations by clicking the test button within the settings tab after filling in all the required details.
  • Resolved the issue where, after creating an integration bridge with API as the source type and Email as the target type, the Email target fields were not displayed upon editing. Users can now seamlessly view and edit Email target fields, ensuring consistent visibility in both creation and editing modes.
  • Resolved the issue where, when selecting a source or target type other than API, it now accurately reflects in the summary tab, providing users with real-time visibility into their choices before creating or updating an integration bridge.

New Feature:

  • Introducing the addition of a new target type: Email. Users can now seamlessly select and configure email as a data target for seamless integration service.

Improvement:

  • In the Data Source, the Numeric Params Maximum Number field now accommodates values beyond 1000, offering users greater flexibility. While there is no imposed maximum limit, a default value of 1000 can be set for user convenience.

Bug Fix:

  • Resolved the issue where, after saving a bridge with API as the source type and datalake as the target type, the summary tab did not display data target and target object name upon subsequent edits. Users can now accurately view this information for improved clarity.
  • Previously, when using a database as a source, the system mistakenly converted the database name to lowercase. This issue has been fixed to maintain the original case of the database name.

  • Integration Bridge Update Issue with Database Source Type Resolved - Fixed the problem where users were unable to update the integration bridge when selecting the database as the source type, ensuring smooth editing and maintenance of integration bridges.
  • Improved Usability of Key-Value Pair Addition in "params" and "header" Objects in Data Operation - Addressed the issue where the icon representing the functionality to add a key-value pair to "params" and "header" objects was relatively small and lacked clear recognition, resulting in difficulty for users to identify and utilize the feature effectively.
  • Marketplace API Testing Section Issue Resolved - Fixed the problem where the API Testing section in the Marketplace was not functioning properly for certain APIs, ensuring reliable and accurate testing capabilities for all APIs within the Integration Bridge platform.
  • Enhanced Display of Pre-request Script in View Mode - Addressed the issue where the pre-request script was displayed as a single line in view mode, despite users entering it as multi line text. 
  • Integration Bridge Creation Issue Resolved - Fixed the problem encountered when attempting to create a Integration Bridge with Data Source as Oracle Database and Data Target as Data Lake, resulting in an error message stating "Unable to create Integration Bridge."

  • Resolved Data Source Display Issue - Resolved the problem where multi line XML or JSON bodies were displayed as a single line in view mode when users selected the body as XML, ensuring accurate representation of the data structure.
  •  Integration Bridge Data Source and Target Display Issue Resolved - Fixed the issue where data target details were not being displayed when editing an integration bridge with a database as the data source type and an API as the target type. Additionally, resolved the problem where a cross icon was shown in the search by target name field, ensuring a seamless user experience during target selection.

  • Resolved the issue in view mode of the Integration bridge when user applies the dl ingestion operation. The operation is now visible in the view mode.
  • New users can directly verify their account by clicking the verify link that comes in the verification mail.
