Marketplace
An API marketplace functions as a dynamic online platform facilitating the exchange of application programming interfaces (APIs) between providers and consumers. Within the eZintegrations API marketplace, users are offered a comprehensive array of features including API listings, search and discovery capabilities, testing environments, pricing structures, and ecosystem integration support. This platform creates an interactive environment where businesses can seamlessly connect and collaborate in the digital sphere.
Accessing the API Marketplace
Users can access the API marketplace using the following methods:
- Log in and locate the
Marketplace
option on the dashboard. Click it to access the marketplace. - The
Marketplace
option is also located within the left sidebar of the screen. Users can access the marketplace directly by clicking on this option. - In addition to its standalone access, the marketplace can also be reached during integration bridge setup in the data source, data target and data operations step, select the source/target type as API or data operation as API. Then, click on the
Marketplace
option below the product name selection menu.
Marketplace Features
- API Listing: API providers can list their APIs on the marketplace, providing detailed information about what their APIs do, the endpoints, authentication methods, and pricing.
- API Category Selection: Desired API category can be selected from the top dropdown menu. Alternatively, the search bar can be utilized for manual API lookup.
- Filtering Options: On the left side of the page, users can find checkboxes allowing to filter listed APIs according to the specific requirements. Options include filtering by brand, product name, business object, method, type, and price.
- Sorting Capabilities: Easily sort listed APIs based on either newest arrivals or latest updates, enabling users to stay updated with the latest offerings.
- Direct Testing and Cart Addition: Upon selecting an API, users have the convenience of testing it directly within the marketplace environment. Following which, the selection can be added to the cart for further processing.
- Cart Management: Marketplace supports the addition of multiple APIs to cart facilitating efficient management of the selections. Easy reviewing, modifications, or removal of items from cart is possible, providing users with flexibility and control throughout the purchasing process.
Cart Management
Add to cart:
Step 1: In the marketplace, select the desired API from the available list.
Step 2: Proceed by selecting the Add to Cart
option to add the chosen API into the cart for further utilization.
Delete from cart:
Step 1: Access the cart option within the marketplace interface.
Step 2: Utilize the delete option provided alongside each API listed in the cart to remove any unnecessary APIs from the selection.
Utilizing API from cart
Step 1: Add a new integration bridge or edit an existing one.
Step 2: Within the data source, data target, or data operations step, navigate to the API selection.
Step 3: Choose the Add from Cart
option to incorporate the desired APIs directly into the integration process from the cart.
