Activation Process for Organization Admin Users
Organization Admin users have the authority to activate visualization capabilities exclusively for themselves. The following steps elucidate this process:
Step 1: Sign up as a new user. Follow this link for detailed steps of login: Login for new users.
After signing up, users will become an Organizational administrator automatically.
Step 2: Once registered, go to profile by clicking on 'Settings' in the top right corner and select "My Profile."
Step 3: In the respective profile, a toggle switch labelled 'Enable Visualization Access' is present. Turn this switch on to activate visualization features for the respective profile.
Step 4: After enabling visualization, Organizational Admin users can access the 'Visualization' option in the left sidebar.
Step 5: Click on 'Visualization' to go to the visualization interface.
Users are redirected to the visualization interface without the need for separate login credentials. By utilizing the same credentials used for the eZintegrations, users experience access process eliminating the hassle of managing multiple logins and ensuring a simple transition between platforms for enhanced user convenience and efficiency.
User Groups and Users
In eZintegrations, the organizational administrator can control administrative tasks including managing users efficiently, such as adding new users, creating user groups and assigning users the required user group for better collaboration and easier access management. The 'User' and 'User Group' sections can be accessed conveniently under the 'Management' section in the sidebar present in left top corner of the dashboard.
User Groups:
To create a new user group, follow these steps:
The newly created user group will now be visible in the list of added user groups, ready for allocation to users.
User:
To add a new user, adhere to the following steps:
Step 1: Go to the 'User' section within the 'Management' area. Click on 'Add' and input the requisite details for the new user, including first name, last name, and email address in the designated fields.
Step 2: Under the 'Select Permission' section, a dropdown menu with checkboxes will appear. Choose the appropriate permissions to grant to the user from the available options.
Step 3: Allocate the user to a user group from the list of user groups created earlier To do so, Click on 'Select User Group' and choose the appropriate group from the list.
Step 4: Configure analytics permissions for the user based on requirements. Configure access for the user to Visualization by providing the necessary permissions under 'Select Analytics Permission'.
Step 5: Switch 'on' or 'off' the Make Admin toggle present at the bottom of the page as per requirement. This can be switched on to make a regular user an admin user.
Step 6: Once all permissions and settings are configured Click 'Add' to finalize the user addition process. A verification email will be sent to the entered email address for the newly added user to set their password. The new user will be able to login after completion of the verification process.
Integration Guide: Sending Data to Datalake for Visualization
Users can effortlessly leverage the visualization platform by seamlessly integrating datalake with their data sources.
Step 1: Create an index/table through the index management option available in the sidebar of the visualization platform.
