Webhook & Websocket Integration

Power your integrations with real-time data processing using webhook and websocket. Whether you're receiving events from external systems or delivering them instantly to clients, webhook and websocket support reliable real-time communication.

Webhook

The webhook is used to send real-time data to the websocket connected client. This can be configured within the eZintegrations platform.

Webhook Endpoint

To test the Webhook URL in eZintegrations

Enter the following :

URL:

https://{{BaseUrl}}/api/webhook?client_id={{client_id}}

Header:

client-secret = {{client-secret}}

Note: You can retrieve your client_id and client-secret from your eZintegrations profile.

Payload Format:

Here’s an example payload that can be posted to the webhook

{
  "company": "Vector",
  "companyDomain": "https://vector.co",
  "email": "joshua@vector.co",
  "firstName": "Joshua",
  "lastName": "Perk",
  "linkedinUrl": "https://linkedin.com/in/joshuaperk",
  "location": "Bradenton, FL",
  "segmentName": "All visitors",
  "title": "Co-founder & CEO",
  "vvid": "33bf50ea-ff9f-4380-9d44-e4a922dcc311"
}

Once this data is sent to the webhook, it will immediately be received by the websocket client.

Websocket

Our websocket allows you to receive real-time notifications from webhook events configured within eZintegrations.

Websocket Endpoint

To test the Websocket URL in eZintegrations

Enter the following :

URL:

wss://{{BaseUrl}}/api/ws?client_id={{client_id}}

Header:

client-secret = {{client-secret}}

Once connected, any data sent to the webhook will be instantly pushed to this websocket connection.

Note: You can retrieve your client_id and client-secret from your eZintegrations profile.
